About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate to join our Private Equity direct investment team in Australia. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the investment process, including industry research, due diligence, transaction execution, and portfolio company management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis and modeling to support investment decisions
  • Develop high-quality written reports and presentations to communicate investment opportunities and portfolio performance
  • Collaborate with the investment team to identify and evaluate strategic opportunities for portfolio companies
  • Assist in negotiating debt facilities, purchase agreements, and other commercial agreements for portfolio companies
  • Support the investment leader in managing the investment life cycle, from sourcing to exit
Requirements
  • Excellent financial analysis and modeling skills, with a strong understanding of financial markets and instruments
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong team skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Ability to rapidly prepare and assimilate industry research from internal and external sources
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
