About the Role

BaptistCare is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pathways Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our community services team, you will provide leadership and support to our team members, ensuring they deliver high-quality, integrated services to vulnerable and marginalized communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide team leadership and guidance to ensure effective delivery of community services
  • Support the development and implementation of community programs and services
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build strong relationships and partnerships
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, policies, and procedures
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of BaptistCare's strategic plans and goals
Requirements
  • Relevant degree or diploma in community services, counselling, or social work
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a counselling and/or community-based case worker role
  • Mental Health First Aid accreditation and Trauma Informed Care training
  • Child Protection training and knowledge
  • Ability to work in an integrated approach that is person-centered and strengths-based
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and CALD communities
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and diverse community environment
