Role Summary

The Neurology Account Specialist will develop and implement a strategic business plan to meet sales objectives. This role requires subject matter expertise in ALS, as well as a customer-focused approach to engage healthcare professionals in clinically relevant discussions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed sales targets through approved market strategies and solutions.
  • Understand and address the business needs of healthcare professionals through meaningful dialog.
  • Partner with Medical Science Directors, Managers, Patient Access, and other organizational personnel to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement dynamic territory business plans by analyzing the business, competitive landscape, and territory market.
  • Nurture professional relationships with targeted KOLs, including physicians, medical staff, and key hospital personnel.
  • Anticipate potential business challenges, adjust priorities, and develop solutions to address challenges.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical sales experience, including 2 years in Neurology and/or CNS.
  • Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and regulations/guidelines.
  • Experience with new product launches.
  • Strong selling skills, self-directed, committed to excellence.
  • Polished image, ability to engage others, build strong business relationships.
  • Strong oral/written communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; Veeva proficiency a plus.
