Job Title: Neurology Account Specialist

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth in an assigned territory by developing and implementing a strategic business plan that aligns with company objectives.

  • Meet or exceed sales objectives through effective implementation of market strategies and solutions.
  • Develop strong relationships with healthcare professionals to understand their needs and determine how products can address those needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies that ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze the business, competitive landscape, and territory market to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Navigate the hospital formulary process to ensure successful product positioning and availability.
  • Anticipate potential business challenges and develop solutions to address them.
  • Maintain a high level of proficiency in selling skills, clinical, market, and product knowledge.
  • Cultivate professional relationships with key opinion leaders, physicians, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, including at least 2 years in neurology or CNS.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and its regulations.
  • Experience with new product launches.
  • Highly self-directed, committed to excellence, and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Possess strong selling skills, particularly with new product launches.
  • Polished, professional image with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Veeva is preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%, including frequent overnight stays.
