Tax Manager

We're seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our Core Tax team at Pitcher Partners. As a key member of our team, you'll provide expert tax consulting advice to clients across various industries, ensuring they meet their tax obligations and achieve their business goals.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and deliver tax consulting advice on a range of issues, including income taxes, capital gains taxes, and corporate taxes.
- Research and stay up-to-date with current legislation, drafting and finalizing letters of advice as needed.
- Cultivate and manage client relationships, collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional service.
- Work with relevant authorities (ATO) to efficiently resolve tax-related queries and audits.
- Project manage jobs and specific tasks, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Review and finalize end-of-financial-year tax compliance documents for larger, complex clients.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities.
- Coach, support, and lead team members, delivering technical training and guidance to ensure their success.
- Tertiary qualification in accounting, law, or a relevant business field, with experience in applying taxation matters in a professional environment.
- Proven experience in delivering commercial taxation advice to a range of clients from different backgrounds and business sectors.
