About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our International Tax and Transaction Services team at Iris Software. As a Tax Manager, you will play a key role in advising clients on complex tax matters and providing strategic guidance on international tax planning and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead tax consulting projects for corporate and private equity clients, providing expert advice on international tax research, planning, and compliance.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including strategy and transactions, to provide integrated tax advice to clients.
  • Manage budgets, projects, and teams to deliver high-quality tax services to clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their tax needs are met.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in Australian tax consulting within a top-tier accounting firm, corporate, tax consulting, or legal environment.
  • Proven expertise in inbound and outbound transaction consulting, with experience in international tax research, planning, and compliance.
  • Ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly and succinctly to clients.
  • Experience managing budgets, projects, and teams to deliver high-quality tax services.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service.
