About the Role

This role is ideal for a seasoned team leader with a passion for events and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

  • Oversee daily operations, including venue setup and tear down
  • Coordinate season bump-in and bump-out, including production scheduling
  • Lead a high-performing onsite crew of approximately 60 individuals, working closely with the Assistant Venue Manager
  • Foster a culture of excellence by recruiting, training, and developing staff
  • Manage food and beverage operations, including ordering, invoice processing, and inventory control
  • Ensure successful sponsorship activations and deliver contractual obligations to a high standard
  • Prepare rosters and manage payroll processes
  • Implement audio-visual systems, including screen and audio setup and content management
  • Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing WHS compliance and implementing risk management strategies
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day activities, ensuring seamless event execution
  • Team Leadership: Foster a positive team culture, driving results through effective leadership and communication
  • Event Coordination: Coordinate logistics, including production scheduling, venue setup, and AV operations
  • Financial Management: Manage food and beverage operations, including ordering, invoicing, and inventory control
  • Risk Management: Maintain a safe working environment, enforcing WHS compliance and implementing risk management strategies
