**About the Role**

We are seeking an Event Operations Manager to oversee and support the management of all function operations, ensuring seamless execution.

The successful candidate will have proven leadership experience in a function or banquet environment, with the ability to mentor, train, and develop a team of hospitality professionals.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Oversee and support the management of all function operations, including event day functions, briefings, and VIP events.
  • E nsure prompt and efficient service delivery for all functions, adhering to predetermined standards and procedures.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance guest experiences, identify revenue opportunities, and position MCG Events as a market leader.
  • Maintain the highest customer service standards, adhering to protocols and ensuring exceptional service levels at all times.
  • Participate in non-event day operations during peak times, supporting the Functions Manager and overall event success.

**Requirements:**

  • Proven leadership experience in a function or banquet environment.
  • Ability to mentor, train, and develop a team of hospitality professionals.
  • Enthusiasm for delivering outstanding service, adaptability in fast-paced environments, and a commitment to creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as event schedules dictate.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
