This is an exciting opportunity to take on the role of Asset Planning Manager, playing a pivotal part in strategic planning, allocation, and management of campus facilities. As part of this position, you will work closely with faculties, divisions, and university leadership to develop and implement strategies that optimise space utilisation and operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities and Objectives- Collaborate with key faculty and division stakeholders to understand their education, research and social impact objectives.
- Identify and apply improvement opportunities such as refurbishment, repurpose, leasing, or reallocation.
- Develop and implement long-term strategic plans to optimise the university's estate portfolio.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in architecture, design, facilities management, or related field.
- Experience in space or campus planning, with a proven track record in managing education and workspaces in university or research institutions.
- Strong knowledge of space utilisation principles, learning space design principles, facility standards, equipment requirements and safety and regulatory requirements.
