Project Officer (Learning and Development)

We are seeking a skilled Project Officer to support our learning and development activities.

  • This role will involve coordinating and promoting learning programs, managing logistics, sponsorship, marketing, and communication of L&D activities.
  • You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining policies, protocols, plans, and templates relating to event planning and marketing activities.
  • A key part of this role is managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including providing guidance, assistance, and information as required in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate and promote learning programs
  2. Manage logistics, sponsorship, marketing, and communication of L&D activities
  3. Develop and maintain policies, protocols, plans, and templates relating to event planning and marketing activities
  4. Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  5. Provide guidance, assistance, and information as required in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience working with Indigenous organisations, communities, and individuals in a culturally sensitive manner
  • Knowledge of and adherence to Indigenous protocols
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management and relationship building skills
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating training and/or workshops and event planning
  • High-level organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively both autonomously and as a team to achieve outcomes
