Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering high-quality billing services that meet client needs and expectations.
  • Following up on lodged claims in a timely manner to ensure prompt payment.
  • Supporting billing queries across the district to provide excellent customer service.
  • Assisting with revenue-related follow-up actions to maintain strong relationships with clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of Medicare Benefits Scheme (MBS) and other billing arrangements.
  • Experience in utilising PowerBilling Revenue Collection (PBRC), Revenue Portal, i.PM (Patient Administration System), Microsoft Office applications, Content Management (HPECM) and Powerchart.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organise, prioritise and manage multiple tasks, considering the impact on others to achieve outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with people from a range of professional and social backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated high level of analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure the integrity, reliability, accuracy of data and data systems.
  • Capacity to work independently and as an effective team member with the ability to facilitate and support the team to achieve required outcomes.
  • Demonstrated exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills.
