Evening Shift Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering Team in Gold Coast City.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversight of hotel maintenance and technical issues during evening shifts is essential for ensuring day-to-day operations are completed efficiently.
- The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service by supporting colleagues across various departments and teams, guaranteeing a seamless guest experience.
- Maintenance of fixtures and fittings in public areas and guest rooms is crucial for maintaining the hotel's high standards of presentation and functionality.
- General room and preventative maintenance inspections should be carried out with a focus on enhancing the guest experience and upholding excellence.
- Liaising with the Engineering team and other Departments on job requirements and tasks while ensuring timely completion is vital.
- Previous experience working in hotel or resort settings is highly desirable.
- Operational expertise in a variety of equipment, including small hand tools, is necessary.
- A trade qualification would be highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience in general building maintenance, engineering, and/or construction is required.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays as required is necessary.
- A valid Australian Working Right is mandatory.
