Job Title: Evening Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Evening Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities during evening shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all maintenance and technical issues that arise during evening shifts, ensuring prompt attention to minimize disruptions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across various departments to provide exceptional service and support, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  • Maintain fixtures and fittings in public areas and guest rooms to meet high standards of presentation and functionality.
  • Conduct regular room inspections to enhance the guest experience and maintain our commitment to excellence.
  • Utilize our Maintenance Request System to coordinate tasks with the Engineering team and other departments, ensuring timely completion within adequate timeframes.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in hotel or resort settings is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with operating a variety of equipment, including small hand tools.
  • Trade qualification highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in general building maintenance, engineering, and/or construction.
  • Ability to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays as required.
  • Must have valid Australian Working Rights.
