Job Description
As a
Maintenance Technician
, you will be responsible for the daily maintenance operations within the Engineering Team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently to maintain optimal property and hotel performance.
Your duties will include hands-on repair and maintenance of plant, equipment, and machinery, including mechanical, hydraulic, and other systems.
Role Details
This autonomous role involves overseeing all hotel maintenance and technical issues during evening shifts.
You will support colleagues across departments to ensure a seamless guest experience, maintain fixtures and fittings in public areas and guest rooms, and carry out general and preventative maintenance inspections to uphold high standards.
You will utilise the Maintenance Request System, coordinate with the Engineering team and other departments, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Requirements
Previous experience in hotel or resort maintenance is advantageous.
Experience with operating various equipment, including small hand tools.
Background in general building maintenance, engineering, or construction.
Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
Must have valid Australian Working Rights
