The Role

We are seeking a Financial Reporting Specialist to join our Finance team as a key business partner for our brands. The purpose of this role is to provide reporting on financial performance, financial analysis, maintaining SAP master data, and assisting with retail stocktakes and audits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Forecasting, Budgeting, and Analysis:
    • Review and analyze sales, sales reductions, margin protection, cost controlling, and asset protection.
    • Collect and collate data.
  • Advisory / Controlling:
    • Draw conclusions from analysis and discuss with relevant managers.
    • Credit management.
  • Policies and procedures:
    • Assist in the documentation and updating of policies and procedures.
  • Financial Modelling:
    • Continuous improvement and availability of reports geared towards sales, margin protection, and cost control.
  • Administration of retail stock takes and POS Audits:
    • Assisting with preparation and execution of retail stock takes and POS Audits.
    • Preparation and execution of SAP adjustments, summarise results of POS Audits.
  • Maintain SAP Customer / Vendor Master Data:
    • Customer creation, modification, and closure.
    • Vendor creation, modification, and closure.
    • Maintain cash discount, settlement discount, and trade margin conditions in SAP.

Requirements

  • Formal qualifications in accounting.
  • Management accounting experience, including experience in a multi-brand/multi-business unit environment.
  • Computer skills: advanced SAP knowledge; Advanced MS Excel knowledge.
  • Process Mapping.
  • System Accounting.
  • Financial Analysis.
  • Inventory and credit management control.
  • Able to work full time in office, based in Richmond.

Salary

$90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
