Patient Care Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Express Transporter to join our team. As an Express Transporter, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients within our facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain a high level of patient safety and comfort during transportation.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- FOLLOW PATIENT TRANSPORT DIRECTIONS ON A HANDHELD DEVICE ASSIGNED AND USED DURING THE SHIFT.
- Ability to read and write English and perform basic math calculations.
- No prior healthcare experience is required but it is beneficial.
- Experience using a handheld device to receive instructions about patient transport is necessary.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills are required to complete mandatory training.
- The role requires standing and walking for long periods of time.
- The ability to push/pull all modes of patient transport equipment is essential.
- Lifting a minimum of 50 pounds for moving and lifting patients is also required.
- There may be exposure to hazardous materials.
