Strategic Risk Management Associate Director

Esteemed opportunity awaits an Associate Director to spearhead strategic risk management initiatives within the Group Chief Operating Officer division.
About This Role- Provide expert guidance and insights to support impactful change assessment for major transformation projects across Technology Modernisation domains in Switching and Core Banking.
- Manage Risks and Obligations applicable to the Domain, and any impact of the transformation.
- Proactively respond to events and issues arising that impact customers and other stakeholders with root causes of issues, develop, and implement effective solutions.
- Contribute to comprehensively addressing errors and look for ways to continuously improve processes.
- Collaborate closely with the CRO team to ensure major changes in transformational activities are well considered on aspects of risk exposures so that customer experience is enhanced and safe.
- Proven expertise in Technology, Payments, and Core Banking subject matter with a strong background in risk identification, assessment, and controls design.
- An analytical mindset to explore complex issues and deliver timely advice.
- Able to work autonomously as a senior member who will seek to expand responsibilities in 6-12 months.
- Strong curiosity in solving problems.
