What's the role?

Based in Melbourne, you'll be a key relationship manager for a portfolio of major corporate clients across Victoria and Tasmania, each with turnovers exceeding $150M. You'll work closely with senior decision makers (CEOs, CFOs & Treasurers) to deliver strategic financial solutions tailored to their business needs.

This full-time role supports our Consumer & Industrials sector clients within Westpac Institutional Bank (WIB). You'll collaborate with product specialists, analysts, and credit partners to deepen client relationships, enable business growth, and provide market-leading insights. The team is dynamic, work is fast-paced, and your proactive approach to business origination and deep industry sector expertise will be valued and rewarded.

What do I need?

We're looking for someone who's commercially astute, relationship-driven, and ready to make an impact. Here's what will help you succeed:

  • Proven ability to build and manage relationships at senior executive levels.
  • Strong strategic thinking, with a focus on delivering safely and acting upon well-understood risks and tailored solutions.
  • A curious mindset for making a difference and delivering real value for our clients by leaning into shared knowledge, data insights, and Group expertise.
  • A collaborative and deep sense of 'owning it' with a commitment to continuous improvement, balance sheet and equity growth, whilst tempered with the right risk appetite.
  • A background in finance, banking, or corporate sales, a passion for client success, and ideally sector expertise within Consumer & Industrials.
