  About The Role
  
  We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Associate Director of Finance Business Partnering.
  
  This strategic role is central to driving business performance and enhancing financial decision-making through expert planning, analysis, and advisory services. You will lead a dynamic team of Finance Business Partners working closely with senior leaders across the University. You'll influence enterprise-wide financial strategies, guide investment decisions, and deliver high-quality insights that support operational excellence and long-term sustainability.
  
  We're looking for a collaborative and forward-thinking leader who can build financial capability across the University, foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies. If you're passionate about shaping a value-driven finance function and being a trusted partner to the business, we'd love to hear from you.
  
  About You
  
  To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for the Finance Business Partnering function.
  • Collaborate with senior executives to align financial strategy with university-wide goals.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Finance Business Partners.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in portfolio management meetings, presenting on financial business performance, providing forward looking insight, addressing issues or areas of concern or risk and providing input into strategic planning and operational decision making.
  • Partner with the leaders of assigned portfolio to develop the annual budget and quarterly forecast, understanding the portfolio strategy and recommending opportunities for improvement or change that deliver on financial targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior academic and administrative leaders.

  In Some Areas Postgraduate Qualifications And Extensive Relevant Experience.
