Role Overview

Lead a High-Impact Regulatory Transformation in a Respected ASX-Listed Organisation

Elevate Flexible Legal Resourcing is partnering with a leading ASX-listed technology company to find an exceptional Program Director – Risk & Compliance for a 12-month contract. This is a rare opportunity to lead a major regulatory and compliance transformation program within a dynamic, values-driven organisation known for innovation and a strong commitment to work-life balance.

Based in Melbourne, where the Enterprise Compliance team is located, this role offers the chance to work closely with key stakeholders. However, for the right candidate, we are open to exploring other locations across Australia.

Reporting directly to the GM of Enterprise Compliance, you'll be responsible for overseeing the delivery of complex, enterprise-wide initiatives that align with evolving regulatory expectations and internal risk frameworks. Your leadership will help embed a culture of compliance and ethical conduct across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define program vision, roadmap, and governance frameworks
  • Lead stakeholder engagement across executive, operational, and regulatory groups
  • Oversee risk identification, issue management, and reporting
  • Manage budgets, resources, and program KPIs
  • Drive benefit realisation and embed long-term compliance capabilities

What You'll Bring

  • A minimum of 10+ years of post-qualification experience in risk, compliance, or regulatory project leadership (preferably in Australian financial services)
  • Deep understanding of ASIC, APRA, AUSTRAC, and payments regulation
  • Proven ability to lead regulatory remediation or transformation programs
  • Strong communication, stakeholder influence, and change leadership skills
  • Experience engaging directly with regulators and external experts
  • High-impact role with strategic visibility
  • Career growth within a scaling and purpose-driven business
