IT Support Specialist
Join a dynamic team as an IT Support Specialist, providing top-notch support to staff and ensuring seamless IT operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for
1. Providing day-to-day end-user support and troubleshooting, resolving common IT issues, and installing/updating software.
2. Overseeing all IT hardware and infrastructure, ensuring devices are operational, and maintaining server room security.
3. Liaising with regional and global IT teams to escalate complex issues requiring additional support.
4. Ensuring antivirus, patching, and device encryption are in place and in compliance with relevant laws and policies.
5. Managing local IT vendors and negotiating procurement within budget.
6. Forecasting and managing local IT operational expenses, maintaining asset lifecycle plans, and coordinating procurement when required.
7. Coordinating the rollout of regional/central initiatives and acting as a point of contact for pilot testing, UAT, etc.
8. Ensuring local IT decisions align with corporate standards and strategic roadmap.

Required skills and qualifications:
1. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
2. Ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, including end-users, regional IT teams, and external vendors/suppliers.
3. Developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Highly proficient in using and troubleshooting Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, etc.).
5. Advanced skills in providing end-user support and troubleshooting for Windows and iOS devices (laptops and mobile devices).
6. Experience working with ticketing systems such as Landesk and Jira.
7. Familiarity with ITIL and COBIT frameworks.
