Job Opportunity: Electrical Specialist

The position of Electrical Specialist has arisen within our organisation, presenting a valuable opportunity for an electrical tradesperson to utilise their expertise in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities for improved asset efficiency and recommend relevant enhancements
  • Provide technical support for all electrical issues, standardising plant equipment and services where possible
  • Operate in a professional, timely and safe manner, adhering to established standards and procedures
About Your Background

As a reliable and safety-conscious electrical specialist, you will demonstrate exceptional communication skills, capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • A Class electrical licence - Essential
  • Understanding of safety protocols employed when maintaining fixed plant
  • Experience in fixed plant maintenance within mining is desirable
  • Comprehension of maintenance principles and plant improvement processes
  • Strong technical and electrical aptitude
Requirements

In order to be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Class electrical licence
  • Understanding of safety procedures used when maintaining fixed plant
  • Desirable experience in fixed plant maintenance within mining
  • Knowledge of maintenance principles and plant improvement processes
  • Strong technical and electrical aptitude

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the team to achieve targeted levels of plant availability through planned preventative and corrective maintenance. They will be responsible for executing approved maintenance schedules, identifying areas for improved asset efficiency and recommending appropriate enhancements to support plant performance. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols employed when maintaining fixed plant and experience in fixed plant maintenance within mining is highly valued.
