Instrumentation Fitter Role Overview

This permanent, full-time position is part of a team striving for high plant availability through planned maintenance and repair. As an Instrumentation Fitter, you will be responsible for completing work orders to a high standard and maintaining instruments and control systems.

Main Responsibilities
  • Carry out repair and maintenance tasks in accordance with company policies and WH&S rules.
  • Update maintenance reporting systems to ensure accurate records.
  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial instruments and control systems.
  • Support the site team in various capacities and contribute to asset strategy development.
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety and adhere to all company regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation and Control or Electrical - Instrumentation trade qualification.
  • Educational background in electrical or instrumentation engineering is highly regarded.
  • Previous experience working with SCADA, DCS, or PLC systems is essential.
  • Strong technical aptitude, with knowledge of electrical principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
