
Aboriginal HR Training Specialist

Job Description:
The role of Human Resources Trainee Officer is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the growth and retention of the workforce. The successful candidate will work alongside the Manager, Aboriginal Workforce Development to support the development of a culturally safe and inclusive workplace.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including processing HR documentation, managing HR inbox and correspondence, preparing reports, and assisting with HR policy implementation.
- Liaise with the People and Culture team to support Aboriginal workforce matters.
- Plan, implement, deliver, and evaluate Aboriginal Health Workforce initiatives within Justice Health NSW and joint Aboriginal Health Initiatives with Corrective Services NSW and community stakeholders.
- Maintain confidentiality and manage highly sensitive information.
- Participate in and support Justice Health events, meetings or activities for Aboriginal Workforce.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Certificate III in Business (HR electives) or Certificate IV in Human Resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
