Role Summary

As an Industrial Relations Manager, you will be instrumental in supporting the ER/IR function, addressing a variety of workplace matters and initiatives.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a diverse portfolio across multiple business units.
  • Lead enterprise bargaining negotiations effectively.
  • Support strategic bargaining through benchmarking and trend analysis.
  • Engage with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Assist with compliance-related matters.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and review reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions and case management activities.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex cases and manage workplace litigation.
  • Provide regular updates on legal changes affecting the workplace.
  • Stay informed about HR and industrial relations legislation and practices.
Candidate Profile:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Law are essential.
  • Experience in a similar role with a solid understanding of employment legislation and industrial instruments.
  • Proficient in interpreting industrial agreements and HR policies.
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly with data and spreadsheets.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Experience in a blue-collar workforce is advantageous.
