
Cinema Team Member

The primary responsibility of a frontline cinema worker is to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the smooth operation of a cinema entertainment complex. As part of a dynamic team, you will work together to deliver a positive experience for all patrons. Your duties will include handling minor customer feedback, participating in cinema campaigns, and upholding high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
This role involves various responsibilities, including:
- Cinema Operations
- Deliver outstanding customer service by proactively attending to customers' needs.
- Address and resolve minor customer complaints while maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Participate in all cinema initiatives and ensure seamless execution.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Attend mandatory training sessions and adhere to designated protocols.
- Support fellow employees as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Conduct meticulous opening, closing, and shift change-over procedures for the relevant area.
- Ensure a well-maintained and visually appealing work area through regular presentation and maintenance tasks.
- Monitor and address issues with cinema assets and property, taking action where appropriate.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene through diligent cleaning practices.
- Retail Customer Service
- Demonstrate proficiency in register operation and ticketing systems.
- Develop strong product and service knowledge.
- Manage cash preparation and be responsible for own till.
- Perform self-audits and maintain financial accuracy through attention to detail.
- Prepare food and beverages for sale, ensuring high quality and attractive presentation.
- Manage product stock levels and presentation, adhering to planograms where applicable.
- Support stock control through accurate stock handling and assist with preparation for stocktake.
- Additional Responsibilities
- Prioritize delivering exceptional customer service by actively addressing their needs.
- Assure presentation and maintenance of games machines.
- Manage queue and crowd control, including allocated seating management.
- Regularly inspect ticketing, auditoriums, and public areas, reporting and resolving issues as necessary.
- Support on-screen presentation by monitoring film quality, comfort, and ambiance.
Key qualifications for this role include:
- Proficiency in basic Maths and English.
- Strong cash handling skills.
