Job Title: Visual Arts Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Visual Arts teacher to join our team at St Andrew's Cathedral School. The successful applicant will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to delivering high-quality Visual Arts education to our students.

About the Role:
  • Teach Visual Arts to students in Years 7-12
  • Develop and implement engaging and challenging Visual Arts programs
  • Assess and provide feedback to students on their Visual Arts work
  • Collaborate with other teachers to develop and implement cross-curricular programs
  • Contribute to the development of the Visual Arts department

Requirements:
  • Extensive teaching experience in Visual Arts
  • Expertise in Stage 6 Visual Arts
  • Highly developed communication and collaboration skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the rest of the Visual Arts team
  • Understanding of maker mindset with a range of materials
  • Expertise with a range of digital technologies
  • Flexibility to work with a range of student abilities
  • An understanding of and commitment to the School's Christian mission, values and ethos
