Lead Test Strategist

As a seasoned Lead Test Strategist, you will spearhead the development and implementation of comprehensive testing strategies to ensure high-quality system delivery.

  • You will establish rigorous testing standards and best practices across various domains, including functional, non-functional, integration, performance, user acceptance, and security testing.
  • Effective leadership skills are essential in leading the test team, allocating resources, and actively participating in test execution and defect management while overseeing the overall testing process.
  • Key responsibilities include monitoring testing progress, tracking key metrics, and reporting on risks, issues, and resolution plans.
  • Collaboration with business process owners, project teams, and external vendors is crucial to ensure successful system integration and deployment.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 7+ years of experience in software testing, including system replacements, data migration, and system integration.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall testing methodologies.
  • Expertise in test automation, performance testing tools, and defect tracking systems.
  • Ability to develop detailed test plans, manage resources, and execute test cycles efficiently.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Familiarity with financial and commercial management systems is highly regarded.
  • A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
