Customer Support Specialist

This role is designed for individuals with a mechanical background and technical knowledge of equipment to ensure client fleets remain productive and efficient.

The position will focus on supporting multiple mining sites located within a two-hour drive to the north and west of Toowoomba, with approximately two to three days per week spent onsite at the Meandu Mine site.

The remainder of your time will be spent conducting site visits and providing support to other mines in the western darling downs region.

  • Develop strong relationships with customers through regular meetings and evaluations.
  • Evaluate the performance of mining fleets and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Conduct machine inspections and audits, including undercarriage, chassis, dump bodies, bucket, and GET wear rates.
  • Collaborate with customers to provide innovative solutions enhancing fleet productivity.
  • Act as the primary point of escalation for customer concerns and strive for swift resolutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support planning maintenance events and forecast resource requirements.
  2. Maintain minimal downtime for mining fleets, optimizing customer operations.
  3. Contribute to business growth by providing forecasts and insights into resource requirements.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Possess minimum mechanical trade qualifications.
  • Demonstrate strong technical understanding of earth moving and construction equipment.
  • Be able to travel as required and spend approximately two to three days per week onsite.
