Leading a High-Performing Team: A Key Role

This position involves spearheading a team to ensure that trolleys are readily available for customers and stores are meticulously maintained. As a team lead, you will collaborate with your team members to collect trolleys, complete daily tasks associated with store cleaning and waste services, and develop essential leadership skills through people-related activities such as recruitment, rostering, and coaching.

You will serve as a coach and mentor to your team, establish the team's schedule, work closely with the Store Leadership team to understand challenges and priorities, and interact with customers. This role demands a high level of physical fitness and comfort working in various environments.

Ideal candidates possess supervisory or team leader experience, although aspiring team leaders are also encouraged to apply. The position provides direct support from a Group Manager to help guide you in developing leadership skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team to deliver effective trolley collection and cleaning services
  • Develop leadership skills through people-related activities
  • Act as a coach and mentor to your team members
  • Establish the team's schedule and ensure coverage of daily tasks
  • Collaborate with the Store Leadership team to understand challenges and priorities
  • Interact with customers and provide excellent service
  • Work comfortably within a regulated framework (Food Safety, industrial regulations, code of conducts etc)
