Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Field Technician to join our SecureTech field services team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with IT equipment in a dynamic outdoor environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing preventative and break-fix support for car park equipment, including traditional boom-gates and cutting-edge Voyager kiosks. Our team operates on a set roster schedule, ensuring excellent customer service and coverage across our peak hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and repair software and hardware issues within car park equipment.
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of car park equipment.
  • Install and configure hardware and software components as required.
  • Document equipment locations and configurations for easy access.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including travel time and time spent on site.
  • Monitor the incoming work queue and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Effectively communicate with landlords, customer service representatives, and leadership team members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Basic electrical and mechanical principles, with a strong understanding of PARCS equipment.
  • Knowledge of basic network concepts, including IP addressing and DHCP.
  • Intermediate PC skills, including knowledge of USB and network connectivity.
  • Familiarity with CCTV camera equipment and its applications.
  • Able to identify modems, firewalls, routers, switches, and servers, along with associated peripherals and cables.
  • Possession of a data or electrical trade license (advantageous). A current unrestricted driver's license is mandatory.
Salary and Benefits
