Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Field Service Technician - Automation Specialist. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Attending field service calls and preventative-maintenance calls to ensure seamless operations
  • Conducting inspections, fault finding, and diagnostic checks to resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Providing technical advice and information on our products to clients and colleagues
  • Assisting with installations where required, ensuring timely completion of projects
  • Maintaining service and van stock levels to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime
  • Liaising with clients to discuss service requirements and promote service agreements

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience in the automation industry, preferably with gate motors, automatic doors, speedgates, and other perimeter access products
  • A White Card or equivalent qualification
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • An Electrical Fitter Licence or Restricted Electrical Work Licence (minimum)
