Job Overview:
- Assist in delivering parcels and packages to customers across Port Macquarie.
- Maintain a high level of safety awareness and adhere to all relevant regulations.
- Develop strong relationships with customers through excellent communication skills.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve daily targets.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a manual transmission van safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.
- Use scanners to track deliveries and maintain accurate records.
- Load and unload parcels from the van, handling loads up to 30kg.
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to resolve any issues.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- C Class license with manual transmission experience.
- Strong physical fitness to handle lifting and loading tasks.
- Ability to lift from 1kg to 30kg.
- Safety-focused mindset with understanding of chain of responsibility.
- Excellent customer service skills and effective communication.
- Basic numerical skills and good planning/organizational abilities.
- Forklift license (LF) is advantageous but not essential.
