Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead the delivery of high-voltage substation projects, supporting Australia's renewable energy transition.

This pivotal role involves designing and implementing electrical systems for substations, transmission lines, wind farms, and battery storage systems, ensuring high-quality, technically sound solutions from concept through to construction support.

Candidates with expertise in primary design engineering skills, including conductor and busbar sizing, short circuit forces, lightning protection, and lighting studies, will excel in this position.

A successful applicant will have a strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or equivalent, and extensive experience performing in a similar role in the HV electrical industry.



Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience performing in a similar role in the HV electrical industry
  • Expertise in substation design
  • Hands-on experience in Arc Flash, Insulation Coordination Studies, or Earthing
  • Power system study experience, including lightning, lighting, short circuit, load flow, etc.
