Overview

Senior Design Drafter - Primary at Consolidated Power Projects (CPP) Australia. CPP is a leading provider of high voltage infrastructure design, construction, commissioning and maintenance, including substations, wind farms and battery storage systems. CPP operates as part of the Quanta Services Group, with offices in multiple cities and a history of delivering large-scale HV projects.

Responsibilities
  • Join an industry leader and contribute to the design and construction of high voltage infrastructure projects, including substations, grid connections, wind and battery storage systems.
  • Deliver high quality results to meet standards and project deadlines while supporting design and construction teams.
  • Provide sound technical and engineering design input and assistance to Project Managers and Engineers; assist in resolving technical project queries.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation
  • 5 years or more experience as a Senior Design Drafter - specialising in High Voltage Primary Systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with client engineers, suppliers and subcontractors
  • Demonstrated experience in interpreting and implementing design information provided by Primary Design, Civil Design and Project Engineers
