About the Role

The Support Worker plays a vital role in fostering a supportive environment for individuals with disabilities. Through tailored support, this role empowers participants to develop daily living skills and build their capacity for greater independence.

  • Building relationships with the people you are caring for.
  • Providing care to participants following a routine developed specifically in consultation with their needs.
  • Transporting participants to and from appointments.
  • Assisting in implementing programs designed for client development.
Key Responsibilities

As a Support Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with participants.
  • Providing personal care services as needed.
  • Supporting participants to engage in community activities.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • Current NDIS Worker Check.
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
  • National Police Check.
  • A current driver's licence.
  • Ability to work a 7-day shift work roster.
  • Willingness to participate in pre-employment medical checks.
Preferred Qualifications

Certificate 4 Disability or equivalent.

Certificate 3 Individual Support.

Certificate 3 Aged Care.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
