Job Title: Household Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Household Coordinator to join our team at Holy Cross in Kincumber. As a key member of our household care team, you will play a vital role in managing household operations and enhancing the daily living experiences of our residents.

Job Description:
  • Coordinating Household Operations: You will be responsible for coordinating household operations within a neighborhood of 17 residents, ensuring that their needs are met and their preferences are respected.
  • Assisting with Resident Personal Care: You will assist with resident personal care and administer basic medications as required, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Facilitating Individual Activities: You will facilitate individual activities with residents based on their personal interests, hobbies, and preferences, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
  • Serving as a Link between Residents, Families, and Other Roles: You will serve as a link between residents, families, and other roles in the home, providing clear communication and resolving any issues or concerns that may arise.
  • Coordinating Daily Living Experiences: You will coordinate daily living experiences within the household that are tailored to the residents' needs and preferences, promoting independence and autonomy.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certification: Completion of Cert III or Cert IV, qualifications in aged care, Enrolled Nurse, independent support, frontline management, or similar.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in at least one area of Personal Care, Leisure and Lifestyle, Hospitality, Nursing.
  • Skills: Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with residents and their families, commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences, and spiritual beliefs of residents, ability to influence others and coordinate people and resources effectively, and ability to creatively problem solve.
