Job Description:

The role of Senior Contract Administrator involves administering a range of construction and services contracts to support the execution of the Silver City Project. This includes ensuring compliance, performance, and value across the supply chain.

As part of this team, you will be responsible for coordinating with site teams, including construction, interface management, engineering, planning, HSE, and quality, to ensure contract deliverables are met safely and in a timely manner.

You will also oversee the processing of all Contract progress claims through to Payment Certificate and payments, as well as supporting the Project Services teams with cost and schedule forecasting and reporting.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer construction and services contracts in accordance with project execution plans and company requirements.
  • Support the Contracts & Procurement Manager in managing contractor performance, claims, and risk.
  • Coordinate with site teams to ensure contract deliverables are met.
  • Maintain accurate contract records and contract data systems.
  • Administer nominated packages, including notices, variations, site instructions, and extensions of time.
  • Oversee the processing of Contract progress claims.
  • Support the Project Services teams with cost and schedule forecasting and reporting.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need a tertiary qualification in supply chain, law, business administration, quantity surveying/construction management, or a related field. Relevant experience and RIQS accreditation are highly regarded.

Additionally, you must have strong understanding of contract terms, negotiation, and claims management, as well as proficiency in procurement and project systems.
