Overview

Procurement and Contracts Officer | Part-time (0.8FTE) at Perigon Group — Hybrid

We're looking for a detail-oriented Procurement and Contracts Officer to join a purpose-led organisation delivering essential services across Victoria. In this role, you'll be the go-to person for all things procurement and contract management — from drafting and negotiating agreements to managing supplier onboarding, renewals, and compliance. You'll play a key part in ensuring the organisation's partnerships and purchasing run smoothly and deliver real value.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead and support procurement activities across the organisation, including RFQs, supplier engagement, and evaluation processes
  • Oversee the full contract lifecycle — including drafting, reviewing, tracking milestones, and coordinating renewals
  • Maintain accurate records, including the central contracts register and supplier documentation
  • Provide advice on procurement policies, probity, and compliance
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and drive value-for-money outcomes
About you
  • You've worked in procurement or contract management, ideally within a regulated or service-based setting (e.g. NFP, healthcare, government, education)
  • You're detail-driven and proactive, with a practical approach to problem-solving
  • Confident working across teams and building strong supplier relationships
  • You value ethical practice, accountability, and inclusive workplaces
