We are seeking a skilled and experienced tradesperson to join our team at 11 Recruitment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, with a focus on residential construction.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reading blueprints, determining materials, and constructing buildings according to specifications. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will be essential in meeting project deadlines.
Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand material and construction requirements.
- Determine all materials needed for each job, ensuring accurate calculations and timely delivery.
- Cut and shape building materials according to measurements, using raw materials or preconstructed items as necessary.
- Build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Lay out floorings, roofing, or drywalls, ensuring they are levelled and compatible with surrounding structures.
- Inspect sites, conducting repairs or maintenance as required.
- Build scaffolding and other construction structures, guaranteeing stability and security.
- Assemble and fasten various materials to erect framework, following established procedures.
- Install structures and fixtures, ensuring precise alignment and secure attachment.
- Relevant qualification in carpentry or a related trade.
- At least 2 years of work experience in residential construction, demonstrating expertise and adaptability.
- Excellent physical stamina, enabling efficient completion of tasks.
- Able to work effectively at heights, maintaining balance and focus.
- Strong mathematical skills, facilitating accurate calculations and estimations.
- Good health and eyesight, essential for safe working conditions.
- Able to collaborate with colleagues, fostering a positive team environment.
- Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills, driving success in challenging situations.
The role offers a competitive remuneration package, ranging from $75,000 to $90,000 per annum, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week. We value expertise and offer opportunities for growth and development within our organisation.
