About The Opportunity
Programmed's Property Services department is seeking a Horticultural Tradesperson to join our team. This role offers the chance to work on-site at Crown Sydney in Sydney CBD, providing grounds maintenance, gardening, and development services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the site's grounds and gardens to a high standard.

Nature of Position

This is a full-time position.

Location

The role is based in Sydney CBD, Eastern Suburbs.

Reporting Line

Site Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the site's grounds and gardens to a high standard
  • Provide expert horticulture knowledge to the team
  • Prune and shape across the grounds
  • Operate a range of mowers and other small plant equipment
  • Weed and pest control - spraying and manual weeding
  • Ensure compliance with all occupational health and safety processes and procedures

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a horticulture qualification, a passion for providing quality work, and a strong commitment to safety. Additionally, you will have

  • A qualification or experience in horticultural parks and gardens, gardening, and landscaping
  • A current driver's license
  • A current working with children's check
  • A professional approach to the workplace
  • Execution of work to a high standard
  • A strong commitment to and understanding of quality, environmental, occupational health, and safety management systems
