Insurance Assessor Role

Maas Group Holdings is seeking a skilled Insurance Assessor to assess damage to insured properties and provide accurate reports and repair budgets for insurers to review.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assess property loss or damage and determine policy coverage.
  2. Communicate clear and accurate advice, solutions, timeframes, and claim progress to stakeholders.
  3. Support the Insurance Manager to identify customer resolution strategies to minimize customer escalations.
  4. Determine an appropriate claim fulfillment method that balances customer needs.
  5. Respond to customer and stakeholder requests within expected or agreed timeframes.
Essential Requirements:
  1. Experience in the Building and Construction Industry preferred.
  2. Willingness to travel and spend prolonged periods of time working out of the office.
  3. Ability to use technology and systems to execute role efficiently.
  4. Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and Australian Standards.
