Job Title: Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Psychiatrist

The Central Coast Local Health District is seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Psychiatrist to join their team. The successful candidate will provide expert psychiatric care and advice to young people and their families in a multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Provide clinical leadership to the team and ensure the smooth, efficient, and effective operation of the service.">
  • Provide clinical governance, including expert psychiatric care and advice to young people and their families of CAMHS.">
  • Provide professional leadership in the area of mental health within a multidisciplinary environment and clinical leadership in clinical meetings such as MDT care reviews.">
  • Psychiatric assessment, treatment, and management of young people and their families.">

Requirements:

To be eligible for this role, you must have Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) and a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), awarded under any RCPsych curriculum from August 2007 to date following satisfactory completion of a General Medical Council or Postgraduate Medical Education and Training Board approved specialty training program in psychiatry in the United Kingdom. Alternatively, you may hold eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent.

Additionally, you should have demonstrated clinical skills and experience working with mental health problems in Adult Mental Health, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
