
Hydraulic Support Engineer

The role of Hydraulic Support Specialist is an exciting opportunity to contribute to customer project and reliability solutions for hydraulic rock drill products.
You will work extensively in a domestic and international travel environment, preferably based in a major city. The position involves mentoring and leading by example in service centres, providing product training both internally and externally, troubleshooting and resolving issues, and documenting processes for procedural development.
- Complete drill rig and lubrication audits & reports
- Installations, commissioning, and support of hydraulic rock drill products and services
- Project execution, data recording according to project plans
- Mentoring & leading by example in service centres
- Provide product training both internally and externally
- Trouble shooting and strive to resolve issues and determine proper solutions
- Document processes for procedural development
To be considered for this role, you should demonstrate the following skills and experiences:
- Relevant trade qualifications
- Underground mining industry knowledge, specifically with the processes associated with hydraulic rock drilling is desirable
- Experience with hydraulic rock drill products will be highly regarded
- Computer literacy in word, outlook, excel, publisher & power point
- Must excel in a fast paced, agile environment where critical thinking, strong technical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are required for success
- Innovative thinker who is positive, proactive and ready to embrace change
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Excellent internal and external report writing skills, with high level of attention to detail
