Job Title:

Hydraulic Component Specialist


This role involves working with hydraulic components to ensure they are functioning correctly and efficiently. The Hydraulic Component Specialist will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and upgrading hydraulic systems to meet the requirements of our clients.


Key Responsibilities:

Stripping, rebuilding, and modifying hydraulic components is a key responsibility of this role. This includes testing components for accuracy and troubleshooting any faults that may arise during the process.

  • Perform regular maintenance on hydraulic components to ensure they continue to function correctly
  • Repair and upgrade hydraulic systems as required
  • Test and troubleshoot hydraulic components to identify and fix any issues
  • Work closely with other team members to achieve project goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new hydraulic system designs


Essential Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and qualifications. These include:

  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic function and ability to read hydraulic circuits
  • Experience in rebuilding and modifying mechanical components
  • Proficiency in machining operations, including lathe and mill operation, and fabrication skills
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications
  • Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Forklift License and Certificate IV in Fluid Power (desirable)
  • Excellent planning, organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
