Job Overview

The Junior IT Technician will be the frontline support specialist, delivering technical assistance to staff members. This role demands exceptional problem-solving skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective support for service desk tickets and IT help requests.
  • Set up and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoot basic network and software issues.
  • Install and update software while maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Assist with user onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Maintain our internal knowledge base by documenting issues and solutions.
  • Help manage our inventory of IT assets and equipment.

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of Microsoft Windows OS and Office 365.
  • Possess basic networking and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Azure Active Directory and endpoint management is desirable.
  • Education: A minimum Grade 12 Certificate; Bonus: Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or CompTIA A+ certification is an asset.
