About this position

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused individual to fill the role of an all-round bakery staff member with barista skills. This full-time or part-time opportunity offers a flexible schedule, including 37.5 hours per week with 8-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Maintain high-quality coffee and sandwiches for our customers.
  • Process transactions using our point-of-sale system (training provided).
  • Clean and maintain equipment, including the coffee machine.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Perform other tasks as required by management.

Requirements:

  • A pleasant and energetic personality, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • At least one year of experience working in a similar environment is preferred.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Right to work in Australia is mandatory.

Essential Skills:

  • Previous experience as a barista is desirable.
  • Customer service experience is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with food handling practices is essential.
