We are currently seeking a Seasonal Bakery Wrapper to join our team on a temporary basis from November through to the end of February.

The successful candidate will work varying hours per week, ensuring that they can commit to a rotating roster including AM & PM shifts and weekends.

This is an excellent opportunity for students or those looking to gain experience in a fast-paced bakery environment.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing and ensuring prompt and courteous member service
  • Maintaining current product knowledge of bakery items
  • Moving product filled oven racks, un-traying product from baking pans onto packaging and garnishing baked goods according to item requirements
  • Scales finished product and records on weight verification sheets
  • Packages and wraps baked goods by hand or wrapping machine according to merchandise manual
  • Using racks or carts to move or stock wrapped product onto tables and pallets, maintaining date rotation and merchandising presentation throughout the day
  • Assisting with other bakery duties as needed
  • FOLLOWING Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) guidelines as it refers to proper cleaning and sanitation of all equipment required by this position
  • Completing and complying with Quality Assurance, Food Safety Certification and all Safety training required by warehouse and department
  • Assisting with monthly inventory

In addition to the above responsibilities, the successful candidate may also be required to assist with front-end duties and tasks as necessary. Heavy Lifting is required in this role.
