Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Body Fabricator to join our team in Brisbane.

The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and installing new components and parts onto the chassis of commercial vehicles using advanced metalworking techniques.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assess vehicle damage to determine restoration work scope.
  • Maintain chassis crush properly and use it effectively.
  • Treat company equipment with respect, mirroring your attitude towards your own tools.
  • Advise on additional parts required beyond original estimate.
  • Coordinate with workshop workers to ensure efficient workflow placement.
  • Notify product shortages impacting production.
  • Verify daily schedules to meet timeframes.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you must possess:

  • Trade qualification.
  • Proficiency in welding techniques and metal fabrication.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Capacity to troubleshoot and problem-solve issues that arise.
  • Mechanical knowledge to assist in tool usage and maintenance.
  • Aptitude for technical activities.
