About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learning Specialist to join our team at Kilberry Valley Primary School. As a Learning Specialist, you will play a key role in building excellence in teaching and learning within the school community.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of high-quality teaching and learning practices, with a focus on literacy and numeracy. You will be responsible for modelling exemplary classroom practice, leading and modelling the implementation of whole-school improvement strategies, and providing expert advice on professional learning.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate educator to make a meaningful contribution to the school community and drive student learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement high-impact teaching strategies to improve student learning outcomes
  • Model exemplary classroom practice and provide feedback to colleagues
  • Lead and support the development of whole-school improvement strategies
  • Provide expert advice on professional learning and development
  • Supervise and mentor student teachers and colleagues
Requirements
